For sale is a wonderful vintage Chef Pierre Cookie Jar. It was made by the Red Wing Pottery Company and it is in the rare color of Turquoise which is hard to find. This item is in excellent condition, with nothing wrong with it at all. It is approx. 11 3/4"- 12" tall, the base is 5" across the base, and it is 10" across at its widest point where the sides of the apron flare out. Item will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. eBay Of the 5 different figural pottery clocks produced in 1947, this 10-inch chef is in great condition, no chips or cracks. One imperfection along the neckline but not a crack. the clock appears to keep time I ran it for 24 hours and it came within a minute hard to tell but seems to work as normal but cannot guarantee time keeping, and the cord has been replaced with a new long white cord. Has a yellow glaze with brow trim. Although the yellow version was very common for Red Wing, I've rarely seen one in this kind of condition. Marked witht the incised Red Wing U.S.A on the bottom, but what stands apart on this is the absolute Red Wing Pottery ink stamp on the bottom which is just brilliant.

A Red Wing Chef clock in very good condition! Another rare piece of Red Wing history that does not often come up for sale. He has no chips or cracks but as you can see in the photos some of the red paint has flaked off, typical of this color for some reason. The clock runs and the cord looks new, however the minute and hour hand do not move on their shafts. It is common for this to happen to the clocks and I've been informed they can be pressed back on the shaft to allow it to keep time. I have not done so but I'm sure a watch repairman would make quick work of a fix. T
